ABOUT

OUR MISSION

We are Cal State University Long Beach’s team: the Space Sharks. Our team is composed of passionate students from mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and computer science. Our goal for our team is to give each member the opportunity to work in a team setting to design, build, and execute a shopping-cart sized rover.

Team Statement

The Cal State Long Beach Lunabotics team is a group of talented and motivated engineers competing in the NASA Lunabotics Competition. The goal of the competition is to design, build, and test a robot that can mine for regolith autonomously. Over the course of 9 months, a team consisting of a wide variety of engineers including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering will go through engineering processes to design, build, and test and robot.
